Upcoming Evaluations: August 6th & 7th

T-Shirt season is here! - As the weather heats up, we traditionally alter our in-class uniforms. So this year, starting May 1st, students may opt to wear their t-shirts instead of their jacket tops to class. T-shirts are to be tucked in, and uniform pants and belt are still required. All students should wear full uniform to evaluations. (For Youth and Juniors, jackets are still required for ju-jitsu class days. Check the calendar.) If you have any questions, or are in need of additional t-shirts, please speak with an instructor.

Master Perry's Schedule - Several days throughout each month we are fortunate to have Master Perry in-house to teach classes. This month he is scheduled to be at the studio for afternoon and evening classes on:

Wednesday, July 7th
Wednesday, July 14th
Saturday, July 24th
Thursday, July 29th

Days and times are tentative.

Traditional Kung Fu
Our training program is a complete and comprehensive traditional system of Kung Fu, designed to provide our students with practical self-defense capabilities for real-life situations.

With skill sets including Kong Su; blocking and striking with the hands and feet similar to Japanese Karate and Korean TaeKwonDo, joint locking techniques of Chinese Chin Na, also taught as Japanese Aikido and Korean Hapkido, body-control and throwing techniques of Chinese Rho-Tau, also taught as Japanese Judo and Jujitsu, and as Korean Udo, we strive to provide our students with a variety of self-defense options, enabling them to use the minimum amount of force necessary to subdue any attacker and effectively handle any situation.

Traditional Kung Fu also includes a variety of Chinese martial weapons, the practice of which develops strength, stamina, coordination, concentration, and the ability to use anything as a self-defense weapon if necessary.
